In partnership with the CDC in the fall of 1968 Spumoni brought “Spanish Flu in 3D” to the Eden Theater. The hope was to make the show both an informative and entertaining PSA.
Capitalizing on the 3D movie fads of the late sixties, Spumoni integrated a unique 3D effect by projecting “Spanish Flu” ping-pong ball flu spores at the audience. A fun little gimmick that audiences would eventually die for.
